Walking Into Your Promise Land

To walk in your promised land is going to cost you everything.

 

You will have to contend with giants who are currently occupying your land of promise; so you must Face those giants fair and square because in doing this warfare will your faith be tested.

 

Caleb was promised when he was 40years old, but unlike other faithless israelites who died off in the desert; Caleb still had stamina and audacity to still believe God even at age 85; even then, he was still ready and willing to take on the giants in battle so he could inherit his land as had been promised by God.

Joshua. 14:6-12
now the men of Judah approached Joshua at Gilgal and Caleb son of Jesphunneh the Kenizzite said to him that you know what the Lord said to Moses the man of God at Kedesh Barnea about you and me. I was 40 years old when Moses sent me to explore the land and I brought him back a report according to my convictions but my brothers who went up with me made the hearts of the people to sink. I, however followed the Lord my God whole-heartedly. So on that day Moses swore to me; the land on which your feet have walked will be your inheritance. Now as the Lord promised, He has kept me alive for forty-five years since the time he said this to Moses while Israel moved about in the desert. So here I am eighty-five years old, am just as vigorous to go out to battle as I was then. Now give me this hill country that the Lord promised me that day. You yourself heard that the Anakites and their cities were large and fortified but with the Lord helping me, I will drive them out just as He said.

 

Caleb claimed his hill, he would take care of the giants who were in possession of the land allotted to him. He had to fight for the land which had been promised him.

 

If you be a great people like you are, then you will also have to face your giants and bring them down in order for you to enter and occupy your promised land.

 

This means that bow is the time to be more spiritual than ever. There’s Grace, available from God but you need to get yourself ready to fight, draw out your sword and take your promised land by fire and by force.

 

It is high time we got hold unto the word until the word becomes flesh in our lives.

 

Matthew 11:12 – And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

 

We are going to face resistance in all of our endeavours to possess our land of promise and to extend the frontiers of the kingdom but we have to take courage and fight like men.

 

Don’t think it strange to face what you’re facing. If you want a throne, you have to face your Goliath. David was annoited as a young man to be king but he still had to face Goliath.

 

Imagine if David had cowered like others and had run away from Goliath, he would have never become king. Goliath was David’s door into kingship. So we will not run away from any challenge that poses as a threat before us- these same threats before us are our gateway to our thrones and crowns.

 

Shammah, the son of Agee, singlehandedly killed more than 300 Philistines with a sword. That day, Israel enjoyed victory just because one man was willing to take his place on the battle field.(2 Samuel 23:9-11. Will you be that man that will cause the jubilation of the whole kingdom and family of God?

 

Luke 16:16 – The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.

 

If it must be, then It is all up to you- if that vision must stand; it all depends on you. You don’t have to wait for a prophet. Be the prophet you are waiting for. Now that Jesus has come and died; Grace has been availed to all…

 

Titus.2.11 – For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

 

We are in a time which calls to press in. If you don’t press for yourself then you’ll be left behind.

 

Now your destiny has been put in your hands.
Elisha was annoyed by king Joash, whom he told to shoot arrows to the ground as a sign of his victory over the syrians; however the King only shot three arrows and stopped which deeply angered the prophet.

 

2 Kings 13:18-19 
[18]And he said, Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed.
[19]And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice.

 

The arrows can represent prayer in our case. The king was given an opportunity to defeat all his enemies completely in the Spirit but he was complacent.

 

Spiritually, God has made provisions for you to walk into businesses, possessions, Wealth. Health, dominion and influence. Though you might not see them apparently, God has orchestrated that when you come into his presence and call unto him. We will walk unto them. Let us therefore not allow the toll of our flesh to take us over and prevent us from entering now into the things that God has ordained before time to be rightly ours.

 

As long as you present yourself and draw out your sword on the battlefield, God is committed to giving you victory, it only requires willingness to take it.

 

When we begin to be serious about these things and begin to cry to Godand to seek his face in prayer;
the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. James 5:16

 

When Hannah made up her mind to be fervent, that day she walked out with her miracle. We are in a Time when we need to raise up to what belongs to us.

 

Poverty and lack are not in our portion, so don’t let the enemy obstruct you from your rightful inheritance.

 

Nehemiah had to both build and fight at the same time. So while we talk about the Promised land, we begin to take spiritual warfare serious and while in prayer it’s an opportunity for us to call those things that are not as though they’re.

 

Psalms 18:34 – He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.

When there is war around you, remember that God teaches you to fight , because He has designed that He should defeat all His enemies through you. So when we talk about the promised land; we are talking about fighting. We are talking about warfare.

 

Hebrews 4:11 – Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

 

It is always going to cost you something to walk into the promises of God. So when we talk about entering our promised land, we mean getting out our weapons of war and doing battle.

 

Don’t grow weary of prayer. It is going to take you deligence in prayer to be and do everything that God has put in your heart.

 

I believe there are somethings you want to change, there are things you want to see happen; There are things you need to walk into, there are cycles in your life that you don’t desire.

 

God wants to manifest and reveal his glory in life, So better get ready to pray until heaven gets down.
