Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace. – Psalms 37:37 (KJV)
There is no loss in pursuing God. Even when there is a tendency for people to think that God has forsaken them especially when things are not going the way they expect and thus tend to fall for the lie that seeking God is in vain.
But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me. – Isaiah 49:14 (KJV)
The Number one pursuit of every Child of God should be God. Everything you need is in Christ (the gospel). Therefore ‘To seek after things and miss Christ is ‘a chase after the wind.’
If you can find your place in Christ, all other things will be added unto you. The things Will turn and begin looking for you the moment you find your place in God.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. – Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. – Psalms 37:25 (KJV)
If we make the pursuit of God our priority, it doesn’t matter our current circumstances or background, soon or later, God will prove Himself strong on our behalf.
Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had. And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. – John 5:2-8 (KJV)
The man at Bethsaida had picked offence on everyone around him and was blaming his infirmity on those who couldn’t help him. When Jesus came to him, He put an end to whoever had not helped him. If you can find your place in God, it will open doors before you.
A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men. – Proverbs 18:16 (KJV)
When we are in God, we are availing ourselves and finding ourselves in Christ. We have chased these things- wealth, pleasure, possessions and more but The more we chase after them the more we feel empty- like chasing the wind. However, if we set ourselves to pursue God, things will instead chase after us.
For us who make the pursuit of God our priority, our end is Peace. Though your beginning was small, your latter end shall greatly be increased. We are on our sure path to success when we find ourselves securely in God.
Don’t grow weary in doing good for in due season you’ll reap a harvest.
Psalms 126:5-6 (KJV) They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
Isaiah 45:19 (KJV) I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.
Hebrews 10:36-37 (KJV) For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
… There is no loss in God.
People who have sought God like crazy, have seen God move in their lives like crazy. The things that we believe in only find their source in God. So make it your number One objective.
Choose whether you indeed want the too much you have believed in God or to be ordinary like others.
A labourer’s appetite drives him.
He that laboureth laboureth for himself; for his mouth craveth it of him. – Proverbs 16:26 (KJV)
Matthew 6:31-34 (KJV) Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
When human beings are confronted with needs that they can’t meet, they tend to think that God has forsaken them.
But Don’t be so taken up by the things you have or that you don’t have or you put your eyes on the things you’re seeking, but if you pursue God, you’ll find yourself going through the phases without even realising how you have managed through.
When you find yourself in God, you begin to flourish. Planted in the house you flourish.
Psalms 92:13 (KJV) Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.
Create time every day to seek God and pray. Read his word whether you understand or not and let’s give it some time; you will surely realise that, the end of a perfect man is Peace, multiplication, blessings and prosperity. Each one of us needs to find ourselves in God that’s when we will flourish.
Hallelujah. Glory to God.
